NEW Gallery Tour Season Begins Sept. 10, 2011!

After what felt like an endless summer when the New York galleries were off-season, I’ve now finalized the calendar for my first month of gallery tours for the new season, and it begins Sat. Sept. 10.  This will be my 10th year leading gallery tours, and it is shaping up to be the most extraordinary one ever!  Chelsea is in fantastic shape, the Lower East Side continues to be NYC’s meteorically-rising gallery neighborhood, and I expect galleries in the Upper East Side, Soho, Midtown, the West Village and Tribeca to more than hold their own.

Here are my first 4 scheduled tours:

Sat. Sept. 10 at 1:00 PM: Chelsea “First-of-Season” tour
Sat. Sept. 17 at 1:00 & 3:45 PM: Chelsea “Best Exhibits” tour
Sat. Sept. 24 at 1:00 PM: Gay & Lesbian gallery tour in Chelsea
Sat. Oct. 1 at 1:00 PM: Lower East Side gallery tour

Admission to scheduled tours remains $20 per person (I haven’t raised the price in YEARS), or you can e-mail me a request for a $5-off discount codes to use by credit card at least 2 days prior to each tour, so that the cost becomes just $15, with NO service fees.  Click Here to purchase tickets.

I’m also continuing my very popular Frequent Tour Card program, where after accumulating 10 stamps on one card you get in FREE to the next tour.  I’m sure I’ll be getting a lump in my throat at the end of the first tour when I see just how many people saved their Frequent Tour Cards over the long summer, anticipating the new season.

Being that the first 3 consecutive tours are in Chelsea, because those are the galleries opening the earliest, there’s going to be considerable overlap of exhibits in those first 3 weeks.  Therefore, choose just ONE tour to attend in September.  After that, I’ll be expanding to different art neighborhoods, and exhibits will be changing at a breakneck pace, so for the rest of the season almost every tour will show completely different exhibits from all previous tours.

As always, you can also book a private tour just for your friends or family.   And I’ll be continuing Artist Career Consulting services to help artists find gallery representation.

We’re going to have a fantastic season of cutting edge, breathtakingly original art exhibits from the world’s most exciting artists.  I look forward to seeing you in the next few weeks!
