With hundreds of galleries, New York City is the world’s center for contemporary art, and our Founder/ Director has been leading gallery tours for over 20 years.  You can join our scheduled tours on Saturday afternoons, or arrange a private tour any day of the week, just for you and whoever you want to bring.

For these tours, we select newly-opened exhibits of the most extraordinary contemporary art , then explain the artwork and lead the participants in lively discussion.

Bio

Rafael Risemberg, Ph.D. in art education, founded New York Gallery Tours in 2002.  A college professor for 16 years before leading art tours full time, Rafael was also the art critic for the New York Blade for 3 years.
