The “magical” Governors Island – a 10-minute ferry ride from Lower Manhattan – houses many galleries in converted suburban-style homes built in the 1920s. Take the 1-, R-, or W-train to South Ferry/ Whitehall St. Stations, then go to the left of the Staten Island Ferry to board the Governors Island Ferry.
Visit a charming and off-the-beaten path part of Harlem, including a BRAND-NEW Sculpture Park – curated – plus a Gallery exhibiting ONLY Graffiti Art, and an outdoor photo show! Take the A-,B-,C-, or D-train to 145 St. Station, then a very short walk to the meeting place.
